The Application in One Paragraph

Isolation runs the controlling safety record for hazardous-energy work: every asset carries its energy sources, and every energy source its isolation points with a nominated isolation method and verification method; an approved isolation template turns those points into an ordered procedure; a work request raises an isolation request, whose steps are applied, locked and tagged, dissipated, then proved dead by zero-energy verification — independently verified where the template demands it; personal locks go onto a group board under a master lock, one per worker, and only that worker may remove theirs except through a formal dual-approval forced removal; permits to work are issued against the verified isolation, accepted by a recipient, and worked by signed-on workers under mandatory controls; testing is an explicit, time-boxed release of named points under a test authority, after which those points are reapplied and re-verified; and restoration is blocked until every permit is closed, every worker signed off and every personal lock removed, with a restoration checklist and area-owner authorisation before return to service. Events, audits and corrective actions close the assurance loop.

Prototype boundary. This app supports site procedures; it does not itself establish legal compliance. High-voltage switching requires site-specific procedures, competencies and controls beyond this generic prototype.
